After the wettest of summers and a long harsh winter (and no sign of sunshine yet!) the birds are in need of every bit of help they can help. We now feed them one tonne of bird seed (wheat, linseed, sunflower, niger etc) every month to help them survive. Flocks of yellowhammer, bramblings, greenfinch and chaffinch have returned. The lapwings are looking for a home too.

The horse meat scandal should help remind us all how important buying locally produced food is and how paying just a little bit extra really makes a difference. Lamb, pork and beef from Conygree Farm is fully traceable and so delicious. No My Lidl Pony here!

Our herd increases in size. Eliza Bethany Grace Brunyee was born on June 30th. All is wonderful with Mum and baby and William and Katie are sooo excited. Dad is tired!
