Exciting news... the BBC Springwatch team are here! They will be broadcasting live from Sherborne Park in June showcasing the range of wildlife on our estate. They are planning on doing Autumn and Winterwatch here too. Hopefully they will come and film our wildflower meadows, hares and badgers.
August 2016
Yay... another National Trust Fine Farm Produce Award for us, this time for our leg of Cotswold hogget. Presented to us at Countryfile Live and cooked on stage. Conygree was also featured as one of the best NT farms in the country for wildlife.
November 2015
Jonty has been awarded a Nuffield Farming Scholarship sponsored by the National Trust. He will spend 10 weeks travelling the world looking at sustainable farming.

Our Traditional Hereford beef and Cotswold Hogget won a National Trust Fine Farm Produce Award for their wonderful taste, cookability and production attributes.

We are now a Pasture for Life farm producing certified 100% grass fed beef and lamb.
August 2013
Our first Hereford steer is fat and ready to go to the butchers. After hanging for 28 days (dry aged) he will be ready early September. How exciting!

Phew – What a Scorcher! Shearing completed in 33 degree heat and the hay made (although the most species rich fields have been left to flower and set seed).

A bit of sun and a little cold rain but a good lambing with over 100 Cotswold, Lleyn and Hampshire lambs born. A cracking Hereford bull calf popped out too and he was up and running by dawn.

After the wettest of summers and a long harsh winter (and no sign of sunshine yet!) the birds are in need of every bit of help they can help. We now feed them one tonne of bird seed (wheat, linseed, sunflower, niger etc) every month to help them survive. Flocks of yellowhammer, bramblings, greenfinch and chaffinch have returned. The lapwings are looking for a home too.

The horse meat scandal should help remind us all how important buying locally produced food is and how paying just a little bit extra really makes a difference. Lamb, pork and beef from Conygree Farm is fully traceable and so delicious. No My Lidl Pony here!

Our herd increases in size. Eliza Bethany Grace Brunyee was born on June 30th. All is wonderful with Mum and baby and William and Katie are sooo excited. Dad is tired!
