Lamb, Hogget & Mutton Boxes
We sell individual cuts and mixed boxes of lamb, hogget and mutton ready for the oven or freezer.
Boxes offer great value. Each tasty box includes a range of popular joints plus some mince, cubes or burgers.
We can vary the boxes to suit your needs working with our butcher to prepare special cuts as desired.
However, we recommend our most popular boxes as follows:

Conygree Half Lamb Box
Our lambs graze the wildflower meadows here at Conygree all summer, reaching maturity in the autumn.
This box contains half a lamb plus mince and/or cubes.

Conygree Hogget Box
Slower maturing lambs in their second summer are called hoggets. Hogget is the best you can get – good flavour and size.

Mutton Taster Box
Mutton is from sheep older than 2 years. Perfect for slow cooking and curries. It is becoming fashionable once more.

Meat Provenance
Our sheep are a high welfare free range flock. They are pasture fed (100% grass fed), organic and regeneratively farmed.
We hang our lamb, hogget and mutton for 7 days to ensure your meat cooks and tastes superb.
Our customers agree that meat from slow grown traditional breeds raised on a natural diet is better than anything they have ever had. A good amount of fat and marbling is crucial.
